- nominee is an active member of professional organizations * nominee's work can be used as a model * nominee's work reflects the mission and purpose of ISTE * nominee will represent ISTE well in all forums

This should be spread far and wide and recognized just as publicly as all Teachers of the Year awards are, especially given the ICT standards and how doubtful some preK-2 teachers are that they can meet the standards.
