5-Hour AI Virtual Workshop from iste+ascd (01 Jan 2026)

NHSTE is excited to announce continuation of this
NHSTE & iste+ascd

professional learning collaboration . . .

As part of NHSTE’s partnership with iste+ascd we are offering NHSTE members the opportunity to sign up for Virtual GenAI Courses designed by ISTE.

iste+ascd is offering two virtual course options:

5-hour Virtual GenAI self-paced course that is offered on a rolling basis
15-hour Virtual GenAI guided course with scheduled sessions with deadlines for assignments. (summer 2026 cohort to be announced this spring)

Please note that iste+ascd is offering scholarships to participate in both courses. The AI course scholarships are offered as part of a larger project with grant funding. iste+ascd expects that most all NH educators will qualify for grant funding. This 5-hour course is only available through scholarship and is not available for purchase. Interested educators apply through iste+ascd.

Course details ~ 5-hour self-paced format:

The 5-hour self-paced course guides educators through practical applications of AI in teaching and learning. Participants explore current AI tools, develop implementation strategies, and learn best practices for enhancing instruction through AI technology. Upon course completion, participants receive a certificate of completion with the course hours listed. The 5-hour course has a six-month window for completion once an educator registers.

Note: The 16th question in the application asks, “Which organization shared this opportunity with you?” Make sure to write in NHSTE. The last question in the application asks, “If you were referred by an ISTE partner, please choose which one." ~ make sure to select NHSTE.

Audience:

All K-12 educators and administrators are invited to attend.

Cost:

NHSTE Premium & Basic Members: FREE if you meet the *selection criteria"
*iste+ascd expects that most all New Hampshire educators will meet the selection criteria

Registration Deadlines:

Register online by December 31st
Complete the 5-hour workshop modules within 6 months of registering

Do you feel like you are an island in your school without a PLC?

NHSTE has an opportunity for YOU!

You are invited to join the NHSTE Digital Learning Leader virtual meetups after school on April 21st and May 13th from 3:30 to 4:30pm!

What is a meetup? It is all of the following and anything else you want or need it to be . . .

A chance to connect with your peers in other schools
A welcoming place to ask questions
A safe place to voice your concerns or just vent
An unscripted opportunity to build your own PLC

To participate just RSVP below so that you receive the virtual invitation: (there are unique MEET links for each date that are included in the REMINDER emails sent a few days before each meetup)

Feel free to suggest topics of conversation that you are wrestling with in advance or just come with an open slate!

The last meetup on March 31st identified Digital Literacy as topic of interest, so bring your questions, suggestions, and ruminations on this topic along with any other thoughts!

Each month, NHSTE presents a 30-minute in depth review of just ONE tech concept or resource to help you!

We know that when students move, they focus better. The real trick is moving past 'taking a break' and toward movement-based learning—where the activity is the lesson. If you find yourself doing all the legwork while students remain stationary, come flip the script! Liz explores how to collaborate with Gemini to update classic classroom activities and develop new ones focused on movement-based learning!.

Each LITTLE BYTE generally includes a 20 minute overview that includes 3 ideas, tips, or tools you can use immediately then concludes with 10 minutes for Q&A and sharing.

Attend live 4 LITTLE BYTES between September 2025 and May 2026 to receive a Certificate of Participation for 2 hours of professional learning.
