Each month, NHSTE presents a 30-minute in depth review of just ONE tech concept or resource to help you!

Empower 5th graders (or any middle school student) to become genuine app creators! Learn how students designed and launched functional apps—from interactive math games to home utility tools—in just six co-taught sessions. You will leave with ready-to-use student blueprints, prompt templates, and a co-planning framework to inspire your own student app creators.

Each LITTLE BYTE generally includes a 20 minute overview that includes 3 ideas, tips, or tools you can use immediately then concludes with 10 minutes for Q&A and sharing.

Attend live 4 LITTLE BYTES between October 2026 and May 2027 to receive a Certificate of Participation for 2 hours of professional learning.
